    Hi Everyone!

I have a question about my 2011 Prius II Climate Control. Let's say my climate control if off. I push Auto to turn it on. Next I push the mode button to change it so the air comes out at my feet and windshield. Finally I turn the climate control off with the off button.

My question is...Is there a way to turn it back on keeping my settings how they were when I turned it off? It seems like the only way to turn it on is to press the Auto button...which changes the mode to either feet or vent. Thanks.

Why are you turning it off in the first place ?? .... if you want it to come back the same way ... don't turn it off.

Are you sure other buttons don't turn it on?

You can turn it back on by using the fan speed buttons, I think that keeps it in the 'mode' that you had set.

True...But remember that when I change the mode everything else is still controlled by the auto...such as the fan speed. If I use the fan speed button to turn it back on then the fan speed is stuck at whatever I set it at and not auto anymore...

Just seems funny that I can't turn it back on and keep my settings. I need to push auto again and then cycle through the modes until I get what I want.

You can't use auto, and then adjust everything it will come out off auto.

On my car adjusting anything but temp kicks it out of "auto". So i'm lost when reading your post.

Not entirely... you can adjust the mode which does turn off the auto light but the fan remains in auto mode. Adjusting the fan does remove it from auto entirely.

Might be easier to just adjust the temperature to get the MODE you want??
