I have. In fact, all my small external lights have been replaced with projector LEDs - 7440s, 168s. Only bulbs that are still halogens on my entire Prius is the high beams (Nokya 65 W yellow) and OEM halogen 55 W low beams (to be replaced with 35 W HID soon). Although I might swap out the amber LED on the front parking lights for ion yellow 168 bulbs by PIAA - I liked how they look on my last car.

LEDs with projector lens greatly amplifies the distribution of the light emitted instead of them just aiming straight forward.

So, two arrived ok but the other two didn't work.
Contacted vendor he is sending two more out no questions asked.
With only two in (Back only) they are just as bright as the OEM bulb if not brighter. BUT now I have the dreaded hyperflashing.

anyone know where to get an LED flasher relay so i don't have to install resisters on all four bulbs?

U need to remove the Blk panel that has the drive side footwell light. Next lay on ur back looking up next to the brake peddle. To the right of the peddle (between the brake peddle & the parking brake) up towards the top of he dash is where the flasher relay is located. If u have the new flasher, u will notice where a tab will go to lock it in place. This tab will need to be released on the original flasher relay & then pushed up to remove it from the holder......helps if u have small hands.

Yikes. If you are starting out with a bad back and neck then you are probably not going to be a happy camper. You sound like how I wound up after the ordeal. Not having hyper flash is worth the pain. Just keep telling yourself that ( in between explictives!). ;)

Ok I need to do this. i want to change my 2012 rear (at least for now) turn signals to LED bulbs. So once I swap the bulbs in, and swap in this relay box thingy I'm good for a nice normal blink for all 4 signals? or is this specifically for the fronts?

The flasher relay will work whether ur just changing the back to LED or just the front.

The only down side to the LED flasher relay is that it will NEVER hyper flash.......meaning that if u have a LED bulb burn out on u u'll never know it without looking

Does this black panel come off easily? Need tools? Straight pull off? Clips?

Yeh, so I have now spent like 20 mins looking under there. lol. ok maybe not that long. But I lie with my head resting right up against the brake pedal practically and do my best to look up but firstly, how do you even get a clear vision to the top of the dash? I have climate vents and pedal shafts and all kinds of crap in my way. And I have no idea what/where is the relay. I took a few pics of up there to see if maybe someone can point out to me where they see it if they do. The other thing I'm no skeptical about is, once you see this thing way up there wherever, is it really in a place that you have room to work two hands to pry out the old one and place the new one?

^ in the 2010, the relay was planted in that semi-opaque white box above the steering linkage. It had a blue housing. Fun isn't it? :)

There are a couple of threads that have pictures in them.
