the thing is, I already have DRL on my headlight, what does the webelectrics module do ?

Since, my low beam and high beam share the same light bulb, I actually like it the way it is connected right now, cause the DRL low beam is disabled, however when I put on high beam the low beam bulb will still work.

I tried tapping the L shape LEDs to the DRL headlights, and when I put it on high beam, it lights up :)

As long as you always have 100% power when on you are fine. If the power you get at any point is lowered (such as night time driving dimming) then I would be cautious as it could mess up your DRL leds. The module is just 100% on when headlights are off and off when headlights are on. It uses a tap into the parking light to determine your lights are on.

    I'm a lil confused.

So ur high beams are also ur DRLs & they prob run at 1/2 power which will not power ur new "L" DRLs. Best thing you can do is get the webelectrics DRL-2P module

i tried plugging the L DRL's in the DRL connector, and they light up, do you think it will hold up or best still to get the webelectrics module ?

    thanks

Only time will tell. If it work u might as well spend the money on another mod.

Do u plan on leaving the high beam bulb hooked up?

hmm, so right now the L Leds will light up as DRL, turn off when my headlights come up and turn on again if I'm using High beam.

Is there anyway to modify one of the 2 led projectors to high beam ?

Not with out opening the headlight & re-wiring the LEDs. The LED projectors each use their own LED & they are both powered from the same LED ballast

If I were to keep my high beam bulb for high beam usage, where can I connect the L Leds for DRL to ? is it using the webelectrics module ?

    thanks !

Yes. The webelectrics will have 4 connections.

    1) accessory power when in ready mode
    2) ground
    3) power from low beam headlight
    4) power to new DRL
