so what happens when your EV range is gone? your motor DOES NOT START? I just dont get it..lol

Is there another screen to show the new battery SOC? how do you know when its gone?

any pics of how it plugs in?

I know the EV range takes along time to adjust, mine was 11.9 for longest time but slowly got up to 14.2 cause i take a slow conserving route.

I believe toyota uses conservative programming for all controls in the car. It sees the large desparity but adjusts conservatively. Probably a safe approach.

Jim, do you use a ScanGauge 2? Does it show SoC of both stock batteries and the PIS?

Works the same as always, but takes about twice as long to go away. I drive 5 miles, only lose 2.5 miles of Ev range. I drive 10 miles only lose 4.5 miles and so on. When I reach zero on comes the engine, same as before.

I don't have a scan gauge II, but am considering getting one. It would see only the stock battery.

I wish i could afford that right now.....i only spend 30 bucks/mt now on fuel so it would take like 11 yrs to pay for itself at 4k....

$30 per month, not bad. What do you think you would spend if you had regular prius

Price really is my only issue as well, as I am surprised as to how little cargo room it uses.

Why is the kit advertised as "no charger required" How would the PS battery get charged if the PiP charger can't deal with it?

well im at a 50/50 EV ratio now......so i guess double with a non PiP correct? so about 65 or so?

the thing is i was going to buy a non PIP...but got the PIP for only 240 bucks more then non pip....so i could not pass that up.

    Thank you for your inquiry.
and now, I need to konw where do you use the battery pack,
and what is the continous discharge current and Max. pulse discharge current?
which voltage and capacity do you want?

After your answers, we can find the better battery solution for you.
Looking forward to your early reply.
    Best wishes.
