Yeah...he was testing them with the lights off so that's why he couldn't get a correct reading. The parking light whip is so much easier and it is right there where you need to be. We verified it also is black and white so he should be good to go now. He's working under a tent really trying to get it done.

Poor guy......it was 5deg C last night when he was working on it.

He had said that he wanted to be able to keep the DRLs on with the parking lights, that why we were trying to tap the headlight. He had the right connector just need to find the right wire.

hey Sean, do you have whats app ?

I bought a bulb circuit tester this morning.

I made sure it was grounded. I tested all 6 holes from the grey connecter, with the car in ready as well as with the car not in ready. Non of them showed a live wire.

I did the same test like El nino said with the parking lights. my parking bulbs work both sides, I put the power pin in the connector hole with the white and black wire, and grounded it as well.

    No live wire.

I gotta get my car ready, got to work soon. i will go at it again after work 6pm, luckily my buddy has a garage i can work in. I bought work lamps this morning too ><

    To be continued............................

You don't need a tester when you have a black and white wire coming from the parking light whip...just splice into the white wire (with the blue wire from the module). This is just a trip wire for the module to turn OFF the drls when the lights are on. Also..if you are testing any light wire..then you have to make sure the light is ON as well....it's not enough for the car to be on and lights off.

UCSMFU's New Project! Duplicolor Painted White DRL'S !!

I think it would look awesome E..you should try it. I'm sure it wont be an exact match but probably close enough. I used to think that the duplicolor plastic paint I used on interior would come off with Hand car Wash Jets...but I just tried to take some paint of an interior piece I had...and the stuff would NOT come off! lol. I did use adhesion promoter so def use that if you decide to try something new. Glad we got you fired up today! Still waiting on pics. :)

good point..it does look good on white. What kind of glare are you getting at night with the full 100% DRL light? I think the chrome may increase it? If it's not bad then I say move on to the next mod!

Not much glare at night expect the fact that it lights up the entire ground :) better visibility.

I'm gonna work on getting yellow fog light projector lens installed on these DRL LED's, they are coming from an Lexus IS series, I will let you know how that turns out, but so far, the cut off line is pretty straight :)

I've tried, it doesn't work, I wasted 2 laminex films, the projector is too round, and will not stick at all ><
