    Dear All,
I have a 2006 Prius, european Base model, produced 06.2006.
The Base model does not have a cruise control switch.
I read that it can be incorporated, by adding the needed parts (cruise switch, cable and connector).
I am willing to order the parts, but can I know for sure if the ecu and the software support the cruise control option on the Base model ?

    Thank you in advance

There is no guarantee. I would breadboard a circuit using pushbuttons and resistors to simulate a CCS. According to my manual there are four inputs going to the HV ECU that control the cruise control.

ST1 - stop lamp signal, 12v when pedal is not touched, below 1v when depressed.
STP - Stop lamp signal, below 1v when pedal is not touched, 12v when depressed.
    CCS - 6.6v to 10.1v is CANCEL, 4.5v to 7.1v is -/SET, 2.3v to 4.0v is +/RES, Below 1v is ON/OFF
    SPDI - vehicle speed

    Good luck.

All european prius2 are provided with cc software, just two pieces must be added to 'awake' this function.

Of course is impossible to buy (in official markets) incorrect hardware because VIN is request by vendor during payment.

I've also successiful mount it in my italian my04 version.

I think NO, because isn't a KIT (in contraddiction by title), is seem just a switch.

Kit is composed by (4 pieces):

Part Description - Part Number - Price in euros (in 2004...) without VAT
    Main Cruise Control switch - 8463234010 - 75,02
    Cable to connect the switch - 8463348020 - 10,05
    Steering wheel right lower cover - 4518647010C0 - 2,66
    Stop Light Switch - 8434020060 - 14,76 - 102,49
    ( http://www.selidori.com/tech/00000-04999/423-PkFt3.pdf )

Link provided is seems just a 'main cruise control switch'.

Is also needed the cable connection and the brakes switch (is in replace for existing ones) (called 'stop light switch', in effect isn't brake, is just a light swith) .

Just a 'lower cover' -if you want- can be avoided; is just a cover for hole generated, no function makes (other than estetic).
