    Welcome! :)

I'm no mechanic, but I would say unless she is having any specific issues, you should be good to go for many many more miles.

Ditto to MandyTee. My 2010 has 81k miles with no major issues. I only had a MAF error via the check engine light a few weeks ago. Solved it by buying an MAF cleaner and spray the MAF after I removed it.

And some of us should keep their comments to themselves. A man's worth has little to do with his ability to spell.

When grandma was a spring chicken, that was high mileage. But cars have improved greatly since then. I budget my modern cars to last at least 150,000 miles. My 2010 Prius replaced a 1980s car with 235,000 miles, and the two non-hybrids still in the household are doing well as they close in on 200,000 miles.

I just assume everyone is typing on a tablet & that accounts for all the errors ;)

I try to only mention horrible spelling when it confuses the topic: an action that brakes the breaks is different than an action that breaks the brakes. When I get confused, I start being a spelling Nazi.

mylin, I had to smile when I read this. Since I'm probably as old as your grandmother, I can remember when 63000 miles was considered high mileage. Many cars required major engine work before that many miles. Obviously, you understand that is no longer the case. This car sounds like it has the potential for many thousands of miles more. As others have stated, 200,000 and even more is becoming commonplace.

My 2010 Prius just rolled 95,000 miles. Almost zero maintenance problems. One burned out low beam headlight cost me $25 to fix. I do my own oil changes, etc. Great car, should do another 90,000 easy!
