Except it burns some gas on the EPA test cycle. The best they could probably say is 650mpg for short rides.

No CO2 showing when I tried. Also had me on the highway (speed limite75mph) and no difference in elevation (like others here).

Also found it odd it did the omni-directional images while in EV then just the map in HV..

I think showing "blank" MPG is better because showing 999 MPG would mean you used some gas (a tiny bit of drop).

Plugins go through two EPA cycles - City and Highway. For City cycle, PiP doesn't use gas.

Most (if not all) of my short rides are either city driving or sometimes highway below 62 mph.

It should show kWh and gallons.

Sure, there is room for improvement for displaying those information and also take account of elevation and the speed, etc.

The point is, the simulation does not mislead you to believe that electricity is free.

That certainly seems like electricity is not being counted and the car is CO2 emission free even when it used the ICE..

Trying to mislead? Why don't you post the other screens in the entire simulation?

Nice concept. Figure out how to make the EV miles properly simulated (elevation profile, speed profile) then you've got a very valuable tool to both sell and set owner expectations.

Nope. My last update is here. kWh and gallon consumed are there.

For those that wants more details than this virtual drive provides, I suggest you go out and test drive a PiP.

BTW, have you driven a PiP?

Just once, when visiting San Francisco, but it was already out of charge. I was a little disappointed.

I would be too. Make sure you drive it with a full charge!
