I'm not sure it's literally plug-n-play, but it's certainly not expensive and it'll fit behind the head-unit in the dashboard. Also, for your needs, how about finding someone with a Prius C three or four that removed the factory Nav system?

Yes, you'll need a line-level converter, as the factory head unit only has speaker-level outputs. Unfortunately I have no recent relevant experience with line-level converters. Perhaps check the reviews on Crutchfield and the like.

Finally there's face plate to cover the gap of the Aftermarked Head Units.

Yes. Any double din will work and you can use the steering wheel controls if you buy the adapters. Either PAC or Axxess ASWC.

No, I am looking for more of a stock look. I made my own but it still needs a little fine tuning and would prefer a kit.

It is a PC3... It is a Kenwood 9980HD. The mic didn't work out so well but the steering wheel control works and I got the adapter for the USB to function as well as the XM Antenna to work with my Sirius radio. I will be posting a parts list and pics very shortly.

I don't know if this really works, taken from another webpage regarding the OEM Mic in a Aftermarket Head Unit.

For the Microphone: I did a substantial amount of wiring, trouble shooting, building of power supplies, and legwork…to be beat by the OEM microphone amplifier. In the end I tried the simplest of things; I bypassed the Microphone amplifier and simply connected the factory microphone. This gave me a microphone that fit perfectly into the location and worked great. The OEM mic DOES NOT need the amplifier when used with the Eclipse head unit, and I can assume this is the same for all head units.

I tested with a parrot mic and the Eclipse mic, both held in numerous areas of the vehicle, and in ALL cases the Toyota OEM mic was the clearest.

To bypass the amplifier is easy, here it is:

Behind the factory radio, on the k7 connector, connect the following:
Toyota Brown wire = Tip + of a mono 1/8” headphone connector
Toyota Yellow = Ring – of the headphone connector

At the microphone in the headliner, Remove the mic and do the following:
    1. Cut the four wires between the plug and where they enter the wire bundle.
    2. Connect two pieces of wire to extend the Brown and Black wires, 3” works fine.
    3. Mask off or heatshrink the extra wires.
    4. Open the mic casing and expose where the mic connects to the amplifier.
    5. Solder the new wires to the circuit board where the mic connects.
    6. Connect Brown to the mic +, and Black to the mic -.
    7. Re-assemble the mic and install in the vehicle.
    8. Plug the mic into your head unit.
    9. Enjoy the factory microphone!!!

I hope this helps others; it took a long time to gather all of the information. I will post other documents to support the wiring diagrams for the vehicle.

Is there any navi double din that:
    1. Use Voice command - If the VC button from the steering wheel works, and
    2. 100% wireless - how is posible that the standard radio could do this and most of the navi's depend on the cable.

So far my favorite is the DNX6990HD, followed by the Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH with voice command, but if something else show up better. any idea?

I just installed me avh-x3500bhs with the Metra kit. There are a couple little gaps I wish weren't there. My kit doesn't look like any of the pictures I've seen on here though.

Also!!??? How do I get the factory mic to clip back in!? Lol I pulled it down and now it won't clip in because its like I need to get one hand above the head liner to push it back together

Edit: You have to pull down the map lights, and stick your hand up above the microphone and push it back together.
