    +1 on this method. I have had to do this many times with other vehicles. Saves time as well.

    As suggested in the above posts, you should try loosening the lug nuts and then moving the car up & down on your driveway. Hopefully that will loosen the rear wheels.

    I hope you are using four winter tires.

    I just hit the outside of the tyre with a big hammer, not the rim, the tyre. Make sure you add never-seize to the spigot hole in the wheel.

    I'm assuming you got the nuts off but the wheel is stuck. If you don't have a size 12 foot, then get a friend with that size, ask them to put on a steel-toed boot and give it a good kick. It will come off.

    Then, before reassembling, apply a little grease to the hub area that was stuck.

    You can't, don't worry about it though.

    Oh, when trying to get a wheel to come loose, make sure the nuts are on the studs loosely to prevent the wheel flying off and doing harm.

    There are essentially two methods suggested above: 1. kicking/hammering and 2. driving back and forth. My question is which one is more gentle (to avoid damaging the hub or the wheel)? Thanks!
