Three Beeps, while OFF...all day!

    Hi All!
    Long time no see!
    I definitely thought this was because my fob batteries were low, because 2010 Prius started beeping three beeps while driving last week, but while parked in the garage (OFF), with both fobs very far away from the car, it's beeping three beeps every 20 seconds. I even locked it using the fob, and it's still beeping every 20 seconds.
    I've searched the boards and cannot find any answers. I've got two new fob batteries on order, but I worry the 12v is working overtime.
    What else could it be???
    My sister's 2009 Prius is parked in the driveway...maybe it's flirting. =)

    i t could be the 12 volt itself. start with the fobs and if that doesn't fix it, test the 12v and replace if necessary.

    Is the trunk firmly closed? I do not ask for the doors, because it is more obviuos.

    friendly_jacek - NSA isn't this obvious. ;) too many beeps going on for that!

    I'll keep thread updated when the new fob batteries are installed, prob next week.
