    Hey guys..finally got my radio and installed it..everything matches oem of the car decor. It works well and no problems have come up yet. I am posting the install of the unit.     Yes i use a sony aftermarket backup camera. Take a sec after you put the car in reverse for image even if the unit is booting up. If it takes too long then prob cause the reverse signal wire is not hooked up

    Does the bluetooth capability allow internet on this like the stock entune radio or does my phone need mobile hotspot turned on?

    I have not tried using bluetooth for internet use on phone..usually it would be a hotspot thru wifi. Which app u use for internet over bluetooth? Pdanet?

    I got the sony cam from ebay. Says sony backup ccd cam for prius.. the only thing is since this radio has higher res the image is grainy at night seem pickup noise maybe ..where as my older lower res radio was solid image was ok..

    new here. I ordered this from the same seller after seeing your post and installed it over the weekend for my 2013 prius. Unfortunately, the steering wheel button harness and antenna connection don't fit 2013 prius II. Not sure if she sent me the wrong one or what but I don't want to refund it. I checked with the seller about the steering wheel button and she said to connect key1 and key2 wire to the factory wire. I checked techinfo and looks like I need the following connection:
    L149 pin21 (SW1) - R - P Steering pad switch signal
    pin22 (SW2) - G - P Steering pad switch signal
    pin23 (sWG) - P - BR Steering pad switch ground

    Can anyone confirm this is correct? I don't want to fry anything.

    Also, does steering wheel climate control / trip button work for you with the head unit? Mine isn't working. I guess I need to fix my media buttons first?

    A few more problems I see. The head unit fan is a bit loud, always on high. Is it mine only? A bit annoying when engine turns off. Hopefully, there's a setting for fan speed - still waiting to hear back from seller. My usb stick always get unmounted / error after playing music for 2 minutes. Loud pop sound if I put unit to sleep and back on. I had to t-tap reverse wire to reverse signal in kick panel for reverse cam. Didn't need this with factory HU. Other than all that, HU is pretty good.

    May I ask How is the display brightness? I had an Ottonavi unit before. The brightness of the display was very bad in sunny day.

    3 questions:

    1. How well does the loudness of NAV play when listening to music?? Is it loud enough to hear?
    2. Overall impression of brightness of screen, is that the 8" screen?
    3. Does spotify work on that unit?? I have a wifi mobile hotspot, so that's a non-issue, and spotify has an offline mode.

    You can adjust how loud u want nav over your music..screen bright but then our car is tinted..havent tried but any android app will work on this unit

    I received the same HU as you but noticed there were 2 USB chords labeled for 3G/Wifi. Was your wifi built into the HU or did you have to use a Wifi USB?

    Just goto wi fi settings and turn it on and setup the wifi like any other wifi device

    Hey,
    Can you get your DVD player to work whilst the car is on accessories (not in motion)? Mine says can't use while driving or something similar, and the seller I chose from aliexpress hasn't been very helpful. Maybe my installer didn't do something, or perhaps it's a limitation on the car itself? Any ideas? I wasn't planing to watch a DVD while driving myself but thought the rug rats in the back might like it.
