I just took it to my car guy in the box and he felt bad charging me anything. I gave him 20 bucks - it took about 10-15 minutes for him to install including unwrapping. Your current back light fits perfectly with this spoiler.

Yeah I talked with him, he says that they are testing to see if the covers actually fit the Prii, if they do he will have them avail… as for Summer Rain, he says if there are more than 3 people who request the color then he will make them avail; so that's the latest info I have received.

I did this as one of my first mods. If you can use a screwdriver or a socket wrench you can do this mod. Just make sure the ones you buy matches your paint code.

Do you have a side shot of the taillights? I like the rear view a lot actually. Did you happen to do a tutorial or take pics of the process to vinyl the lights?

here's a pic of the side view I posted a few weeks ago http://i.imgur.com/vIUJXMY.jpg

It's not vinyl - they're modified original taillights from Grazio & Co.

I really like those tail lights Spock, but will have to wait until after work slows down around here, and I can justify spending that kinda money... but they look great, and I'm certain they would look great on a Black Prius c, like mine!

I got 35% tint on all windows today. Wish it were legal to get darker here in Georgia, but it should help at least with a black car. My Clazzio leather seat covers arrive Tuesday.

So I went ahead and bent my squirrel finders. I want to get HID's soon and wanted the flatest cut off I could get. I wanted to do it right, so instead of just inserting my finger blindly and bending I took the headlight out and tried to go slow. Towards the end some of the squirrel finders were starting to "taco" so I stopped bending. I might have over done it by a bit, but it's still better than the original as far as glare for other drivers.

I'm very satisfied with them - they definitely give the car a more refined look. It's kind of my MO to buy a

^ Need them! Looks so much better than the 10 year old style altezza tails we are running with.

    Thank you.

First, some time ago, I painted the sides of the lights with matching OEM color. I made some templates and cut vinyl covers for the turns, back-ups and stops. The vinyl started to weather and I could have cut some more ... when I was seized with the desire to have something a little more permanent and better looking

.Prepped the surface by polishing off the residues of the vinyl etc. (Meguiars 105, other polishes will work) Wiped down with prep solvent to remove any residual grease. I cut some 3M edge to edge tape to mask some 'windows' over the areas where the turn signal, back-up, and stop light bulbs are located - the reflectors as well. Edge to edge is thinner and when cut with an exacto knife, leaves a sharper edge than conventional tape. The sides already painted were masked as well.

Then applied 3 coats of VHT NITE-SHADES. Removed the masking tape and applied 1 more coat to blend the 'windows' into the darker area.

After a couple of days, polished out by hand (105 followed by a finer polish). 105 will remove paint as it polishes and you can judge just how much you'd like to remove by checking periodically. That's it ,basically. At some point I'll clear coat when I am certain about everything.

More pictures to follow. I should mention that night shots will look almost exactly like OEM. Right now the stop lights are plenty bright during the day and I haven't messed with the third stop light - it doesn't bother me yet. I would like to get brighter turn signal bulbs - might have to go LED. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm listening.
