Red Triangle, drives well, but battery at 9.6V - am I on the right track?

    there wasn't a warranty - it was over 100k miles at the time, so £1,500 was the quote from Toyota.

    And you felt confident enough to change a cell in the highly dangerous HV battery, yet asked our advice on changing your 12 volt? You also let us offer suggestions about the HHC knowing full well it wouldn't apply if you'd tinkered with the HV battery already. I guess you'll be aware that there is much more to changing an individual cell in the HV battery and if it wasn't correctly balanced that the pack was likely to fail again soon.

    Well - thank you Grumpy - certainly living up to your name. i followed advice from here and youtube and it all appeared to work for a year. I needed advice re finding the fault thos time as it appeared to be a different problem.

    a year is decent after replacing a cell. i would do it again.
