ABS, brake, and tire pressure light.

    alright guys, I'm in need of some help as I can't seem to find any info on this. So I went on a week vacation and my Prius was running perfectly, no lights or anything were on. It snowed and got really cold while I was gone for a week and I come back, turn my car on for the first time in a week, and all the sudden the ABS, BRAKE, and yellow exclamation point in a the circle pops up. I drove it around and seemed like it was the same from when I left. I took it to LES SCHWAB, and they said everything with my brakes look completely fine. Brake fluid was also aye okay. So what is causing these lights?? One thing I should also note is that the day I left, my roommate had to move my car for me. She tried to park the car in "b" on the shift knob and just turned the car off. Would this have anything to do with it!? Any help would be appreciated. Also she did not drive the car in "b" she just moved it up the street.

    Driving the car in "B" has nothing to do with your car's problem. When the car is turned off, the gear selector will automatically move to P prior to vehicle shutdown.

    I suggest you get Mini VCI so that you can determine the DTC logged by the skid control ECU. Once this is known, then the likely root cause will be easier to discuss.

    Les Schwab is not a place that I would take a Toyota hybrid with brake issues. You would have a higher probability of finding out what is going on, at your local Toyota dealer.

    Your title mentions tire pressure, but the warning lights you cited have nothing to do with tire pressure. Nevertheless if there is any concern about tire pressure, check that first. Inflate to 44 psi front, 42 psi rear. If a tire is significantly under inflated that can cause issues with the skid control ECU since tire diameter will be smaller, hence wheel rotation speed will be faster with the under inflated tire.

    Well I'm a little tight on money right now. That's the reason I'm trying to get an idea of what it might be here. I thought the yellow exclamation point was tire pressure...I do apologize. The car seems to run perfectly fine. Does anyone have an idea on what could make these lights come on? No VSC like I see most people had when the ABS light came on. just the ABS, BRAKE, AND YELLOW exclamation point (!)

    So I took it to a shop that had a obd2 reader, and no codes came up at all. Is this a good sign? Or should I try somewhere else??

    Not really any sign one way or the other. They probably do not have a Prius aware reader. Yes, take to another place.

    Yes, generic OBDII readers only query generic PID's, and not Prius specific ones. The blink codes method suggested will get the info directly from the source.
