Seeing all of those post to the Generation III thread, I decided that it's about time that v owners got their own...

I am going to start with my latest modification. I decided that the silver start, park, hazard and shifter surround panel would look better in black.

The panel is very easy to remove. Just pry with a plastic wedge on the top to release the clips. The bottom comes off with your fingers pulling on it.

The hazard switch pack, the start button and park switch wire connector blocks unclip from the back.

The switched remove by releasing their own tabs.

I sanded off the very thin silver paint coating with 400 wet or dry paper.

After masking, painting and letting the paint to dry, reassembling took just five minutes.

I replaced the blue power start button with a black one from a 2011 Prius. It's a perfect fit and took five minutes.

I added a special thick spiral wrap for the inverter control cables to protect them from being chewed by rodents.

I do have the small cover for covering the narrow electrical box right of the inverter. Got it on eBay.
Why do I need the other covers?

Modding cars can be an expensive hobby. Hate to say it but I've got over $4,000. of mods on my 2013 v (purchased Feb. 2014).

I've got almost every body stiffener Juiced Hybrid sells, lowering springs and a Cusco front sway bar. And then there's the ENKIE 17" lightweight wheels, INJEN cold air intake, several lighting mods, etc.

Worth it? Well for the handling, yes. For more power from the CAI? Maybe. A rear sway bar and leather wrap for the steering wheel and I'll be done with the mods - I think. :0)

    Hi
This is one of my favorite thread on this forum so I thought I should contribute and share a picture. :). Hope you guys/gals like it.

I put one Led strip in each glove because the couldn't find anything in the dark and since I put my black flashlight in there I could not find the darn thing. Kinda funny...

Nice pictures! Thanks. Those braces look cool. I am sure it handles much better.
Are you planning on lowering and getting wheels too?
