My 05 prius was recently in a low speed front end collision. Once the body work was done we tried to drive it and had 2 codes. One was throttle body code and the other was hybrid battery code. We replaced the throttle body and the hybrid battery but still getting the codes. The car drives as it should. Help?

The body shop replaced the throttle body and High Voltage Solutionz replaced the battery.

you can try disconnecting the 12 volt battery for a few minutes. if that doesn't work, you probably need someone with a code reader to reset it. i'm surprised the body shoppe or battery guys couldn't do it.

How do I determine if the sensors are working properly and if the problem is the sensor or the wiring to the sensor?

Also can the sensors be disabled?

There's a thread on the High Voltage Solutionz here:

Hybrid Battery Replacement... to your door | Page 3 | PriusChat

You know, it seems like Prius in general don't take well to being in shops, for any reason. There was a lady here, had her car in for tinting, and got it back basically broken. No firm resolution, could even have been water used by the film installers, shorting out a computer.

Anyway, good luck, hope it gets resolved. I'd bet it's battery related.

i have to wonder if either one of those actually needed replacing, or if the collision damaged a computer or connection. both were fine before the low speed collision? doesn't seem like either are items that would be damaged.
