No, those are for the much smaller oil drain plug washers.

Ok, thanks. Can someone tell me the part number for the ATF gaskets?

I just got one for the drain plug from the dealership. Those little parts are best to buy from the dealer when you get the ATF.

Should not cost more than $150.

Tideland Prius got his changed at a dealership for something like $79.95 (Can), which is quite good. Having done it myself a couple of times, I'd say anything under $100 is reasonable.

When I last bought liters of Toyota ATF-WS they were $9.32 (Can), four required.Plus the fill and drain bolt washers were $1.99 (Can) each. For a shop with a lift I'm sure it'd only take them about 1/2 hour.

The excerpt from the repair manual was SO helpful. I ended up going to the dealer today (the one in town that said that they WOULD consider doing the service!) but still had to show them the repair manual twice. I may attempt this maintenance myself in 30K or so, but I'm satisfied with the Dealer's service for this time.

    Cost breakdown:
    4 Qts ATF-WS Fluid $36.80
    2 90430-A0003 Gaskets $ 3.22
    Labor (0.7 hours) $63
    Total pre-tax: 103.02

At 87K- here is what the old AFT-WS fluid looks like. Pretty dark!

A dealer that did not even charge one hour, amazing. One hour minimum on every labor rate I have seen.

They might have felt bad- I paid for a brake inspection, too (not the usual free "quick look") and they were dragging their feet on doing the ATF change. They did the fluid change after they finished with the brakes. I spent WAY too long at the dealer that morning!
