Is there any jerkiness at a constant speed on the highway - i.e., power switching back and forth between electrical and gas power.
Gen II had some subtle noticeable back and forth interplay, but much reduced if not gone in Gen III - hopefully they didn't take a step backwards.

When is your drive next week? Early week or late week?

Any changes to navigation like search input while driving? How about opening all doors with touch?

Gen 3 can be set up to unlock all doors with touch. Don't recall if it owner can do it or just Toyota.

They sense solar intensity and constantly vary their opacity, a common sense adjustment to climate change.

The engine can be off at around 70 mph, according to the engineer presentation slides (pg.16).

Great improvement - I hope it is true. How do you get 70MPH from that chart on page 16? My chart has no units on the X or Y scale.

Right - what I'm after is if that's EV-button only, or triggered any time. Those speeds differ on Gen 3.

Owner can do it. Page 48 in Owners Manual:

I always opt to use the lock and unlock button, not the panic button, just in case. ;)
