How to replace the window weather stripping / moulding on a 2005 Prius?

    Friends,

    Arizona sun and Japanese rubber are no friends ... as a result, my second window moulding (the bit that your elbow rests on when the window is open) is toast. I bought a replacement part, but I can't find any instructions on how to replace it. This thread suggests that the entire inside panel has to come out. Is that so?

    I don't know if he figured it out or not, but I have the same problem. Any advice on how to replace this item without taking the door panel off??
