Good morning Prius community. I'm a new owner of a 2016 CPO Prius Two. Thanks for hosting the Prius forum.

My question is regarding the hatch. I've seen other models with the Tonneau/roller blind.

My vehicle did not have this equipped. Is this something that the dealer may have taken out of the car and forgot to replace, or are the base models not equipped with the rear glass blind?

I'm concerned because any passers-by can see what is in the hatch of the car. If this is something that should have been in the car, I'll go back to the dealership to have them give me one. If it's not, does anyone know of the part number for the cover/blind?

Kind regards, and again, thanks for hosting.

    I too am a newbie.

My 2017 Prius Two came with a cargo cover folded in a bag. It fastens with strings to the cargo area & the hatch door so it raises when the hatch is opened.

When I received my car, it was in its bag laying in the cargo area. I think the 2016 Two used the same cover.

    Welcome to Prius Chat.

I really think it should have a cover of some sort, but wait and see what your fellow countrymen have to say as I'm in UK.

Sorry can't see the video cause I'm in UK, but one PC member in the chat you mentioned said it may be in a sack under the trunk floor. You could try that asap and come back. The American market is not the same as ours so they are better place to advise what you should do. Don't despair, help is at hand.:)

For all of you who just bought a Prius, congratulations! I just bought a 2005 which had one owner who did all scheduled maintenance. The car is fabulous! The only thing missing is the cargo cover!

Congratulations! …and welcome to PriusChat! …are you sure your cargo-cover isn't stowed in its storage space above the spare-wheel (see p.335 User Destruction Manual)

This is where mine was. I love the tonneau cover - its very slick and hides out of the way when its rolled up.
