Hybrid owners using android and having an OBDLINK LX can test a new application.

See all the details in above link

It recognises automatically the car model and adapts itself.

    Until today, it was tested on P2, Gen3 (P3, P+, Auris, CT200h), YARIS, PRIUS C, RX400h, IS300h, RAV4h...
    No luck with P4...

The application is free, no ads and available on playstore.

Interfaces working well: OBDLINK LX, OBDLINK SX.
not so well (not fast) : OBDLINK MX (wifi), Icarsoft BT620.
badly (or not at all) the cheap chinese pseudo elm327.

At this time, we are dealing with "normal" units (metric  ).
We are planning to adapt to Miles & °F within a short time.

The application is stable enough but not completely finished (the sexy look will come later).

There are 2 developpers Alessandro (who developped tools for analysing torquelogs)
and myself (I am familiar to retrieving PIDs, I started with P3 followed by RX400h, IS300h and finally RAV4h).

    Enjoy

Thanks for doing this. I downloaded the App and it works fine with my OBDLink MX (bluetooth)

I could not find the WiFi version as I realy wanted to test out my high speed OBD2 adapter which runs its internal UART bus at 2Mbaud..
I use a high speed WiFi module from Espressif.
Priidash likes to see a speed higher than 921600 to be able to execute the ATMA command on a CAN Bus running at 500K.

    Bonjour ccdisce.
Today, the application is not "finished", but you can use a wifi adapter:

create in the application folder "_hybridassistant" a file named "connexionmode.txt".
the content of this file should be the word WIFI
config is the same as Torque: 192.168.0.10 , port 35000.

If the content of this file is USB, HA will work perfectly with OBDLINK SX.
With HA, we do not use passive frames. (Anyway there are not any more passive frames in actual models)
Only requests, different depending on car model.

By curiosity, you can activate obdlogging from Settings in ReportViewer and have a look to the logs (files starting with fx )

    frenchie, thanks for your assistance.
Any luck with Prius gen 4?

My intention is get access to the hybrid component info, like battery temperature, voltage, cooling fan speed, etc. Ideally, if possible, it would nice to map the status if individual cells in battery pack.

Hey guys. Great job with that app.
I've tested it with Samsung Galaxy S5 and S6 with Carista adapter and it works fine. All the app functionalities works.
Is there any limitations to Android version? I would like to dedicate older Huawei tablet with Android 4.0.1 to run this app.

but HybridAssistant does not work with it for the reasons beyond my understanding.
    Am I doing something wrong?
Please note that this adapter does work with Carista and Torque.
