Noticed what sounds like a slight rumble coming from the cooling fan while moving the cars this morning -- most likely the motor bearing. It's minor ... something I'm going to plan on replacing before the summer.

Don't see it mentioned .. anyone have experience? I did a quick look inside the hood and only noticed one fan --looking at the parts online .. they all show two. Naturally -- the whole assembly needs to come out.

Having bought an aftermarket fan assembly for one of my cars about 5-6 years ago -- and having a balance/ noise issue with it ... was thinking maybe trying to find a used motor/ fan and installing it into the existing shroud. We have owned hundreds of cars -- these things don't fail very often. Thinking a use OE part is better vs cheap replacement ... the OE from the dealer is expensive. I think it's best to get a balanced motor/fan.
