I just purchased a gen 2 prius, It acts just like a dead 12volt battery except the interior lights and headlights function correctly. The only thing lit up on the dash is a door ajar light. I pulled 2 codes, b2287 LIN communication master and b2289 key collation waiting time over. My service info says the LIN1 wire betwwen the ID code box{possibly the transponder key ecu} and the power source control ecu may be open or shorted. I have pulled the dash cap and need to know where to find these 2 ecu's . Any help out there?

You might have a blown fuse for the invertor coolant pump. Check the 15A AM2 fuse (located on Unit B in the main relay/fuse box) .

All fuses are good. I have figured out the power source control ecu will not power up the 3 relays IG1 IG2 and accy. I put power to them and it starts/ready up. I have drove it about a week when it did it again. I need to know if anyone knows what needs to happen for the power source control ecu to come online?
