Why not just purchase a Mini-VCI that is compatible with Windows 10? I did, and it's working perfectly fine. Post 24 in this thread has the information from when I ordered mine on ebay. I've used it hundreds of times and it hasn't let me down yet. Just remember to disconnect from any wireless signals prior to connecting to the car, otherwise the software will try to update and it will lock on the update screen.

Are you sure you are looking at the freeze frame data (i. e. you clicked the snowflake icon), and not live data?

TMR-JWAP...The ones I looked at on Amazon that were compatible were out of stock. I'm gonna pull up your post that you just mentioned. It seems that nearly all of the devices advertised on Amazon were only compatible with 32 bit versions of Win 7 or XP; I must admit that I haven't looked on E-bay (yet). Thank you for the additional information. I would much rather find a device that can run as-is on this laptop without modifying it or trying to find an obsolete machine that's running XP or Win 7.

Dolj....... The pics of all freeze frame values are on page 1 of this thread #11 message. Definitely the freeze frame data according to the scanner. I went and pulled it up again to make sure, since the device was updated yesterday at the Harbor Freight site. I'm working on getting a Mini-VCI now to gather the INF code. Thanks for following this thread; I need all ideas and possibilities!

That is the FFD for the P0A90. If you have cleared the codes and the C1241 has not come back, then you will not have the data to look at, unless you saved the data (if your scanner is capable of that). Another thing to bear in mind, you said you replaced the 12 V battery 9 months ago and the C1241 might have been thrown from when you had a bad battery, depending on how you went about replacing the battery. That is, if you removed the old battery without a backup power source connected, the code will be from your new battery as removing the power will have reset this code. Not all codes are reset on loss of power, notably ABS and Brake codes.

Yes, or you can install and execute the operating system in a virtual environment.
