Determining electric only miles driven- for maintenance

Maintainence schedule is 10k miles or one year, whichever comes first. I think they mention 1 year for a specific reason. I just changed my oil at 10k miles and only put about 550 miles on the engine. The car says I have driven in 94% in EV, which doing the math that way can give you a rough estimate on the miles put on the engine.

I do not believe there is 'too much' maintenance. Toyota is clear on their recommended schedule. You violate it at your risk.

 

If costs is an issue, Toyota covers the first 2 years. After that, I would recommend following the recommended maintainence schedule for the warranty's sake. After the warranty is over, it is all in your discretion.

Yeah, but back to the poster's original question: "Is there a system way to calculate electric only miles driven?"

 

you can use one of the drive ratio's to keep lifetime hv/ev miles.

 

Here is my EV driving ratio at 11000 miles.

...11,000 miles in 80 hours equates to an average speed of 137.5 MPH unless that counter rolls over.

I'm not sure, other than it has never been reset since new. I have had the car new since December 3rd 2016.
