Having continued problems on 07 Prius with 208k miles. Got the red triangle and codes for traction battery problems.

I pulled the battery. It had two bad modules. I changed them and then used a grid charger/balancing device from Hybrid Automotive. All modules balanced at 8.2v, plus or minus 0.02v, after sitting all night.

Installed the battery, and everything's fine for about a minute, and then the orange triangle and several other dash lights light.

Hooked up my OBDII and used Torque to scan for fault codes. Result was no fault codes. Disconnect 12v battery to re-set, and the same happens again after about a minute. It runs and drives fine, and the fanis not blowing constantly, like it was.

What can I try next? Is there any way using the Torque to see what the battery voltages are?

    Thanks!

The triangle may not be related to the battery. But there's definitely codes if the triangle came up

I'll go check again for codes. There were none last time.

Still no codes, but now the Ready light does not come on, it can't be shifted into D or R, and the Brake light stays on, in addition to all the other lights.

    Any ideas?

If you think it is the battery set up your torque to watch all voltage of all 14 battery blocks on one screen.
that take some snapshots of live data under load.

Now, it won't go into Ready mode, and it still isn't throwing any codes, so I cannot load the battery, so far as I know. Any ideas?

What is your 12v battery voltage reading?

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the 12 volt battery. That will clear most codes, even the ones that your reader can't see. If it goes ready and then lights up again you most likely have a high voltage leak. That's the only thing that will cause a one start and done. When the leak code is set the car will drive fine until shut off but will not restart.
