Does anyone tried it? I am highly curious. The science seems interesting and they did got a lot of money from government for the research.

I tried a very similar additive years ago and my timing chain channels got sludeged and the chain failed, luckily I caught it early enough but I had to have an engine flush and chain replacement.

Modern cars can’t really use this type of additive unless they are very worn out, these additives really only work on 1980’s and older tech with their larger oil passages.

Rmay, in what way similar? Nanoparticulates? Government funded? or from Kickstarter? Maybe you remember a name?

My 2001 Prius just got battery replaced with new second gen cells and despite 205,000+ miles on it running strong but engine rattles giving away its age.

I am still curious will it work for my ride? Reviews seem positive but want to know any Prius-specific experience. Anyone here?

Anything that hawks a single product with reviews or a testimonial on the front page is a scam.
    No further reading necessary.

All of the above, developed for NASA

    Qx700 and moly addictive

If you want snake oil the only two that work and are harmless are

Qx-500 and MMO , MMO in fuel actually increased my compression results on a water scored 3.8 Buick .

So both above work and are harmless, everything else “nanoparticle” I would avoid

Instead of additives use higher quality oil. One with zddp. Our cars use solid lifters which is why there’s so much valve noise. Zddp is an excellent remediation for that. I run Redline oil the engine is 100% smoother.
I also use Redline D6 atf.

    Google. Redline oil reviews

Sorry to revive an older thread lol. I’m curious to see if anyone has tried TriboTEX.
