Stopped in traffic, dynamic cruise control enabled and I found two previously unknown display options. Very nice in bumper-to-bumper, traffic.

Please do tell! What display options and how to see them? (And are they Prime-only?)

What I found is if you are stopped in traffic, you can turn on dynamic cruise control and "SET." The radar icon comes on set for 20 mph. You can up pat to set the desired target speed but the display will show "Waiting."

In the past, I thought you'd have to be moving close to 28 mph to set the speed. Now I see it can be turned on even stopped.

    • Use SPACE to stop display
    • "," backup one frame
    • "." move forward one frame
Using the right, steering wheel control, push the right arrow to get the dynamic cruise control display up.

WARNING: if the lead car pulls out fast enough so you are under 28 mph, the car can drop link and leave dynamic cruise control. The solution is to press the accelerator until reaching at least 28 mph.

I didn't think there was any way I'd like auto wipers, they couldn't have possibly worked well, or so I thought. It's on auto almost all the time now. :)

Today I found that, the long press "mode" button on Steering wheel pause the song being played. It also pause the live radio show (I usually listen 107.2 KIIS FM)

While I find the nav system very cumbersome to use, on the occasion I do use it I love how upcoming turns are projected in the HUD. So darned cute!

This one's not as obscure as most, but I didn't realize that you can adjust the height of the inside rearview mirror. Saw it mentioned in another forum here. I'd had a cramped feeling the first day or two, but adjusting it higher suddenly opened things up. Interesting how an inch or less could really change the feel.

Firmly grasp the outside edges with both hands and gently move the mirror up/down. The mirror is mounted on two ball & socket mounts to give it 6-way motion. The one you're familiar with tilts the mirror up/down and left/right and that ball is located directly behind the mirror. The second one is closer to the windshield - that's the one that allows you to adjust the height of the mirror.

In more than four decades, I've had only one car that didn't do this. For folks my height, this is important to avoid obscuring some of the front-right view. In the single car without this adjustment, the mirror hid a few entire tractor-trailer units coming down from upper highway onramps.

Just learned that when you press Home the nav system tells you where you are. Useful if you don’t know what street you’re on or need to know the house number you’re near.
