Is there a way to make my C2 beep when I use my key fob to lock and unlock the doors? this is he first car I've owned in decades that doesn't do this by default.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

C2 or C3? You mention 2 here, but you have 3 on your profile... so confused.

Hitting the key fob lock Icon to lock and it beeps. Since my C3 unlocks by touching the handle I don't hit the key fob unlock button if ever.

If you have a Two (no Smart Key) it will not beep and there is no setting (dealer or otherwise) to make it do so. If you have a Three (with the Smart Key) it will/can.

    Check in your owner's manual.

You can add the beep with an aftermarket unit. I have not seen one for the C but I am sure it can be done. I did one for my Vibe gt. Wife hated it because I was always messing with it when she was around, just to aggrivate her. Have not decided if I will fix this one to beep the horn or not. Seems I get myself into enough hot water already.;)

Any idea on this? I do have a prius c three with SKS and I'm having a problem right now with the flashing and beeping. It does not work when I lock it, it ONLY flashes and beepes when I unlock it either with the remote or using the handle. Car still locks and unlocks...its just tje beep akd flash that doesnt only when attempting to lock it. I really appreciate any feedback or solution. Thanks!!!

Pretty sure there's a setting to turn that on and off. Should be in your owners manual.

I looked at the manual online bc i don't have a paper copy one, but i did find something in the "vehicle setting" its the feedback tone for lock and unlock, it IS all the way to the max so idk what else it could be. It's just weird because still works as it should when unlocks by hand or remote...

That is weird indeed. If I get a free minute today, I'll do a forum search, I know there was a topic similar to this a few years ago. It's definitely a topic that comes up often. Maybe not your exact issue, but definitely the topic.
