Can OBD2 check the hybrid battery ?

    Hello all ;

    it might be a stupid question , but i am new at hybrid world , can the OBD 2 test the the HV Battery ??

    i mean , if i want to buy used car , can i bring the reader with me and test it before i but it ?

    All those 14 battery voltage indicators are useful, but you will need to test drive the car while looking at the numbers to really see if any of the cells are deviating from the rest.

    thanks man , i think you used mini vci right ?? is that result mean that HV battery is perfect right ?? my last question , can i get such a result using the Bluetooth OBD2 reader (you know with toruq app) ?

    you can try to ELM327 bluetooth. Using mini vci

    i tried to search about connecting techstream with ELM237 but no luck !!! , any help ?

    Techstream do not need-request to Google-pids for torque prius.

    Yes it can. Check for torque. Tech stream you need a mini vci cable - mangoose cable.

    Serge is saying you don't need Techstream. He prefers the Torque app and is suggesting that Abdullah Jordan use Google to search for PIDS to add. There are extensive threads on this elsewhere on this forum - search.
