Excellent way to present the noise... Wish others were able to do it so well... How's the health of your 12v battery? Sounds like a pump is not getting enough power.

Depends on if you've replaced the battery yet... If you haven't you can avoid future hassles by doing so... Don't buy and Optima 12v, they're total junk. Auto parts store will likely sell you ~35amp-hour for $240... But you can get a higher quality 55amp-hour that's designed for wheel chairs and home computer backup power supply battery at Batteries Plus for $140. The mounting terminals are slightly different so you'll need some longer bolts and some bushings from a hardware store to make it work.

Can I purchase it at Walmart? The mechanic guys may help me replace it with lower labor cost. I am worried that I do not have such tools and skills to do it by myself.LOL. I will watch some youtube videos. Thank you!!!!!!

it might be worth charging it up with a proper trickle charge to see if she holds

I use a smart charger and trickle my 12 volt battery once a month.

you need a smart charger fora gm battery. ctek makes a good one on amazon. let it charge overnight.
or you can drive around for 8 hours, that's how long it would take the car to charge it.
    does that make sense?

disconnect the negative terminal for long term storage, or buy a third device, battery maintainer. maybe they have a two in one.

That noise is normal its the throttle plate motor. You hear the pulse width modulation in the motor windings. Every prius will do this with drive by wire throttles.

Sounded to me like the inverter was screaming pretty normal has a high load on it hybrid battery charge low and 12 volt charge low. My car sounds just like that with the ac on. Inverter screaming. Any electric load makes th inverter scream ac the worst.

And yes the throttle body whines too but mine is not loud at all.

Take it out for long drive to charge up all battery’s but check the oil first.
