The problem with burning oil is it get into the EGR, cat and O2 sensors. Ever cleaned the EGR?

    No surprise there.
When an engine gets "loose" it uses more oil under increasing strain......like increased speed.

I would just monitor carefully, noting the level and miles.

The distance between the two marks is 1.5 inch, and represents 1.5 liters, or 1.6 quarts.

To more easily read the dipstick: pull it out, then wait about 5 minutes before reinserting for the check. The tube the dipstick goes into tends to have oil smeared along it's length when you pull the dipstick out, which transfers to the dipstick if you do the insertion for the the check right away, making it difficult to discern the true level. Waiting that few minutes gives that oil in the tube time to drain back down.

Has Oil Catch Can been mentioned? Worthwhile to install, between PCV valve and intake manifold, to waylay most if not all of the airborne oil/water/gas droplets.

Have you watched @NutzAboutBolts videos here:

Nutz About Bolts Prius Maintenance Videos | PriusChat

From your pictures it looks like you have the full EGR off for cleaning?

Is intake manifold done as well? Especially pay attention to the EGR passages.

I'm thinking your car is roughly per North American Prius v? All the info should be applicable then.

You might change the pcv valve and clean the oil from intake and mag sensor.

probably mean MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure). And yeah, it's invariably oil-soaked. Not sure how much it matters, but doesn't seem good.

Careful with that sensor, they're very expensive. MAF sensor cleaner is safest I think.

Of is it MAF sensor. Mass airflow sensor. Used by the engine's computer to measure how much air so it can adjust the fuel flow for the ideal air/fuel mixture. Sits in the air intake path after the air cleaner.

Mor'n likely MAP, it's below throttle body, nearly in the "sump".

I didn’t take the comment as semantics but being more precise. My Volvo and other cars give me low oil warning message when I am below the safe level. Or what you are referring to as low oil.
