I was reading another post that someone removed the coolant cap o ring before cold start up and that helped with the shaking. I’m wondering if these thermostats get stuck and over heat the engine. I’m not losing any coolant or oil. I’m going to try and clean my egr and coolant circuit. I herd if you add water to the coolant it might cause a misfire also.

Removing the oring depressurizes the coolant system, meaning you won’t have coolant flow and will vaporize coolant. Adding water affects the performance of the coolant. It comes premixed and should only be adjusted in a spot;).

    Things to be aware of:).

Good luck and keep us posted(y).

Did you know most model T,s didn’t even have a water pump? Ever heard of a thermosyphin?

    Thermosiphon - Wikipedia

Unfortunately it does not work so good with modern cars not designed this way

It does make for old movies having radiators steaming though. The system was unpressurized.
