2010 (3rd gen) wheels compatible with 2016?

    Hi All,

    It looks like the 2016 (4th gen) uses the same tire size as the 2010 (3rd gen). Is the bolt pattern the same as well? The reason I am asking is if I would be able to use my winter tire/wheel combos on the 4th gen Prius.

    I'm 99% sure yes.

    One minor difference, probably not relevant: third gen and fourth gen rim centre bores have a centre cap retaining groove that varies, means 3rd gen centre caps will not fit properly on 4th gen. Bore diameter is the same, but the internal groove (for centre cap locking tabs) is shifted.

    I took the spare from my 3rd gen and used it with the 4th so id say the pattern was the same

    I have my wheels off my 2011 on my 2016 right now. They fit fine.
    It looks like my Gen 3 wheel covers will fit over my gen 4 wheels also.
