So driving to work today the lights went off and all systems returned to normal. Strange...

Yes, I removed it right before starting this thread. So it's been a few days.

Another Update: they came back on just before I got home. Seems intermittent.

Could be related to battery temperature. Are you monitoring it?

No, I'm not monitoring the battery temp.

At least the same lights, I will have to recheck later today to see if the codes are the same.

Ah ok, so that's ruled out.

The idea of the codes in #16 being related to battery temperature has just left me staring blankly into space, powerless to save any day at all.

I love looking up old threads like this describing my EXACT problem and never any update or follow up saying what the fix was....off to the next rabbit hole thread for me!

Did you happen to follow the first page of this thread where it explained the importance of getting your trouble codes and how to do that?

The service manual is less critical; there are a bunch of us who either have access or have seen at least some of the common trouble codes often enough to remember what they mean.

This thread doesn't describe your EXACT problem unless you've read your codes and they're exactly the same ones kevelev posted (and not necessarily even then). But either way, once you've said what codes you've got, we can probably help some.
