thank you for the words of wisdom I definitely saw that when I was reading around in the forms and luckily I do have an inch pound torque wrench. Even 4 foot pounds seems like a lot for those. Here is my bad module:

If considering a new pack, stop by the dealer in San Rafael;).

They had a great deal on the new modules there:).

Good to be local out here(y).

I think he needs to change his profile to show his new address in Florida, but I guess he has bigger issues to deal with now.:(

Maybe he’s near Tampa and can be sorted by one of the best: @TampaPrius.com (y).

I live just outside of Orlando now in Central Florida on the east coast.

Did I mention baby number 2 just came into this world on Monday and is only 7 days old? :D (That's actually the only reason I'm off right now and able to do all this.)

I am strongly considering that option. How far will you drive and/or deliver?

My wife's sister lives in Tampa... If there is a pack available there, I would also consider that. I go back to work on Wednesday though, and we have doctor's appointments on Tuesday, so really I need to make this happen by the end of tomorrow. Hmmm.....

So after way too late a night in the garage disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling my entire pack the ground fault is gone now and everything freshened up with the idea to be able to keep a better eye on where the next problem originates from. I know it is only a matter of time before this pack truly fails, but I at least trust our Prius a bit more in the short term until I can secure a trustworthy replacement pack. I am relieved to not feel the immediate time crunch of today or nothing and now know the construction of our Prius' HV system with more detail after tearing through it for myself.

Since your car has 175K miles on the odometer my guess is we'll hear from you sooner vs. later. Nice to hear that you had resolved the ground fault issue, at least temporarily.
