if it's raining of snow is drifting where I usually have my brick, I'll run an extension to my mailbox and drop the brick in there.
It got me wondering about a bigger mailbox used as an outside home for the brick and cable. Big question now is 120 or 240 inside the new mailbox.

By now, I would have made my own out of scrap sheet metal if I wanted it to be pretty and removable. Probably just wrap around the post and then drop down to a couple pins to hang the brick on through the holes provided for that purpose.

What I did at work as even easier. I just ran a wood screw with one of those tiny torx heads into the wood since my "charging station" is behind the pump house and WAY out of public view. I hag the brick from the screw via one of the holes in the brick. I think it took about 30 seconds.

I got an idea using a couple of tool hanging hooks. Might work on that tomorrow.

I just use a bungee and the eye holes. Cheap and works fine. Somethings you don’t need to over think.
