    That’s almost a $3k dealer discount which is solid IMO

    30714 - 24854 = 5860 - 2000 = 3860 dealer discount! Wow. Is my math wrong?

    Hope to purchase an 2020 Prime XLE this week or next. Has anyone found a good deal recently in NorCal or even SoCal? If so, I'd appreciate a pointer or two.

    That's an awesome deal. Is that at Heritage Toyota? Did you use the Uber or Triathlon incentive?

    Chris Martin at Maita in Sacto was awesome to deal with. I shopped around and he beat all other prices.

    I started shopping mid month and closed on the last day of oct which helped. Put out feelers now and the dealers will keep reaching out to you as Nov 30 approaches. Just be ready to buy when you get the offer you want. Folsom Toyota was also pretty competitive but not as straightforward and it didn’t work out. Good luck. Would love to hear how it turns out.

    FYI / reminder for all the CA folks - the CVRP is available through 12/2/19 Clean Vehicle Rebate Project | Center for Sustainable Energy
    Luckily you only need the temporary registration that is provided upon purchase, along with DL and purchase contract to submit. So you can submit right away.
    Our SCE rebate requires the "permanent" DMV registration, which we're still waiting on (bought 10/20/19).

    @Achilles
    Yep - imo you should sign up to be an Uber driver (don't actually have to drive anyone) for an additional $750, and then buy it! And then tell me where you got it, because I'm thinking Black Friday may be a good day to fly to MD and buy a car! AAACK!!! Or should I wait until after Christmas?!?! This waiting for the best possible deal is killing me!

    Hey @JJBuckley - Did Heritage make the arrangements to ship your car, or did you?

    This I know, the thing is that MA has 2k discount whereas CT has 3k discount from Toyota, but still CT is not matching the dealer discount of MA. So unless I get a quote of 3800+ discount and 2k toyota rebate it will not work. Or someone in NYC and NJ is getting 3800+ discount, there they also have 3k Toyota cash back.. it wont help..

    In the past, the rebates increased to $4-5000 until the Spring depending on the state in the NE. So if you're not in a hurry, I would wait. Just look at the prices in this thread the last couple of years.
