Some basic machine shop tools like a drill press and a band saw and some grinding gear is all you need to make your own... Spending hundreds of dollars for a $30 chunk of Aluminum you can fabricate in less than an hour is a huge waste of money.

Last year I got a OEM (sort of) sway bar on Toyota/scion dealer on Ebay, but it OEM for the scion xb part PTR11-52091 for about $200 dollars. It is painted red (the OEM prius is white) and had toyota end links included. Some sway-bars bolt right on without end links but i have read (here) that either bar itself or something back there breaks. result was the car handles better more stable and not a hard ride. The LLR tires are probably the next limiting factor.

Is the sway bar aluminum? I thought they were made of steel?

It depends which one you're referring to? I know of at least four potential locations you could weld in or bolt in steal or aluminum to make the car go around corners faster.

Most sway bars are made from steel. Typically after-market braces are made of aluminum.

That’s what I thought also. Is there more improvement in handling with the sway bar or the upper strut brace for these cars?

Yes... I'm told it's clearly noticeable. But you're still driving a Prius...

I drive my Pri like I drive my speed, fast.

I couldn't tell you the difference between the brands but both will work by giving you more control of your car. It's the best performance mod for the $. Easy install too.

And how do you "drive" your speed? Do you inject it into your veins or snort it, or smoke it?

What dark and revealing psychopathy, camper. Best to have that checked.

Mazdaspeed 6 to be exact. Otherwise
    D. None of the above.

The TRD is white and looks great from behind.

You're the one saying you like to drive speed... If you don't communicate clearly you get misinterpreted/misunderstood. That's the beauty of social media.

The TRD badge is nice, too.
