Brake, (!)and abs light on-sequence for jumpers

As the title says..... I know that you can “jump” the TC and CG pins (13 and 4) to get the “blinked” codes as I do not have techstream. I’ve searched and searched - can anyone tell me the EXACT procedure (just aux on or in full ready mode, do I set the jumper pins as above before powering on, etc)

Ultimately I’d like to get an idea of what the computer says as opposed to guessing (caliber, brake actuator, linear solenoid, speed sensor, etc). 2006 Prius, 130,000 miles

Because everything I’ve learned about this 2006 Prius with 130,000 miles on it from here - thought I’d share what (appears) to have fixed this (might be long!)

My daughter was driving after a warm spell/melt, so there were lots of puddles. Suddenly, she goes to hit the brakes, brake, (!), and abs light comes on, she has no brake assist (only friction brakes).

My husband checks the brakes, says they look good, but could be one caliper, pin seemed a bit seized, he decided to change the caliper/brake pads to be safe. No go, still no brake assist, only friction brakes, brake, (!), and abs lights still on.

had someone pull the codes (not techstream), codes c1313 and c1364. Pulling our hair about a bit, checked fuses etc.

Today, used the “paper clip” method (jump TC and CG pins) to clear the codes and brake, (!), and abs lights.

everything is now back to normal! Brake assist/braking is all good. Hope this helps someone else!
