I need replacement tires at 45k+ on my 2015. Energy Saver A/S seems to be the tire of choice, but I can't find a set anywhere. I've been looking for weeks. There's plenty of Energy Saver tires (which cost about 20 more per tire). I can't find info on what the difference is. I live in central Florida where our seasons are Mild, Hot, and Hotter. I'm not concerned with "All Season" tires. I am concerned with loosing some mpg. The original Ecopia EP20 seemed average at best.

Just for a "data point", I'd say the EP20 are pretty good for rolling resistance, the Energy Saver (A/S or not), would probably edge them out, but not by a lot.

Situation is similar up here, Costco has Energy Saver, but not the A/S iteration. Is it just me, or does Michelin seem to be "mailing it in" these days? o_O

Use TireRack if you can't find what you want locally:

    Michelin Energy Saver A/S | 195/65R15

I've used the TireRack process and it works very well. Heck, I even used it to get the Energy Saver A/S because I couldn't find it locally. :)

Without it means "summer" tire, fwiw. It is distinct tread, proceeded the A/S version, and has a similar LRR pedigree, though not sure which could come out ahead.

I have ecopia 422 Plus and the mpg is outstanding, never before have I seen a 55mpg average for the tank in my Prius. Same driving style and commute just the tires are different. Inflated to 42 F and 40 rear. And it’s winter.

Agree, the Ecopias (both EP 20 and 422) and the Energy Savers (I've got the A/S at present) are the best rollers out there with no clear best between them. Not sure any of the other LRR's are even close.

Wouldn't the Energy Savers be a much quieter tire?

EP20 get pretty noisy when worn. Not untenable, just saying.

In my experience with the 422, it was as quiet as the Energy Saver with the same, borderline ridiculous mpg. Very similar feel and sound between the two. Noise level with the 422 never got bad toward the end but maybe I just didn't run them down enough. Only about half way through my Energy Savers so can't comment on if they get loud toward the end. Overall, I'd give the nod to the Energy Saver, but I'm admittedly partial to Michelin.

I went to Costco today to order a set of Energy Saver A/S since this is the last day of their Michelin sale. After he made two phone calls he told me Michelin has discontinued both the Energy Saver and the Energy Saver A/S. Is this the case? Any quick suggestions on which route to go? I will also look at other threads here.

Maybe blowing smoke, as is often the case when they really want to sell what's more readily available, and/or in stock. Just went to Michelin USA, described my 2010, said it had 15" rims, and the first result was Energy Saver A/S. OTOH, no mention of the version without A/S (summer version).

Interesting. I tried contacting them via Chat, but their office is closed for today. Btw, TireRack also told me they have been discontinued in my size.

I see they are still available via DiscountTire. I went ahead and ordered the Michelin X-Tour through Costco. Not the best RR, but the 80k warranty and $404. price (incl. mounting and tax), seemed right.
