    Hey guys,

sorry for lack of any updates.Covid thing in LA and working at two jobs that stayed open made things weird.

    @PriusOffroad that looks awesome!
I love how you did a through hole to use the existing sized bolts

I am finally ripping apart my front end today

I'd love to hear the results of this along with any issues. Ride height has been my biggest gripe

I had a heck of a time trying to lift a plug-in Prius. I would have been happy to swap some slight amount of performance for not scraping on things.

I was in the same boat. The Prius is such a jack of all trades with the one exception of ground clearance. It really sucked the fun out of driving it having to constantly worry about scraping your bumper on driveway approaches and parking blocks, or the underside on speed bumps. Our 33mm lift kit appreciated all of that with zero downsides. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to order one for your Prius!

Just got around to finally doing this. AMAZING. I cannot be happier.
with the lift kit and new tires I am 2" higher off the ground and took a 1mpg loss.

just a note to self and anybody else. Do not remove your struts without lifting both left and right side wheels off the ground. accidentally pulled my CV joint out of the tranny.

I think you had recommended it a while back.
My only issue with this tire has been traction so far.
Not the best for off-road but I’m not treating this like my 4runner

How different are the 4th gen and 3rd gen mounts?

As in, could I use these STL files to create a lift kit for my 3rd gen?

They are completely different. Wont work between generations. Every generation has a different bolt pattern.

    Final result, set two.

First set was meant for a 6.5" wide rim
This set is a hankook meant for a 5.5" wide rim

    Whopping 6.75" of ground clearance.

I measured from the ground to the lowest point I could find, which was the rear side of the front control arm lip.

I haven't checked my tire pressure since I was at the tireshop. I'm assuming they inflated it to 35psi

    What's your height at @PriusOffroad

What’s the full description of the tire? Like this example: 195/65R15.

*Edited my previous post, I meant the rim that the tire was designed for.

Having an issue linking the Amazon page
    Couple of notes:

    1. Rears will not have enough space for snow chains
    2. Fronts fit snow chains, may rub when snow is attached.
    3. Current MPG hit 49 on a short commute(will update this later on my daily work drives)
This includes the attached cargo rack
    4. Freeway speed stability is loose...er
Will provide more feedback when I go out late at night and drive more erratically to test emergency maneuvers.
It has what I would describe as a floating point. Similar to a boat at speed but not planeing.

I make it a not insignificant radius increase of 27 mm. Maybe some of that will squish out, but at least an inch lift.

    Well,
Looks like I should have stayed with the 215/70/r15

Maybe it's the combination of everything including the tire size increase but I'm hitting about 35mpg.

I decided to buy another set to compare
I found out that yokohama's also weigh 24lbs!
So I just purchased the firestones which come in at 18.95lbs
