Replaced 12v battery and fusible link, starts once, then no more

    Ahh, but they are not tight. The shims are not allowing me to tighten up the connections very well, I think they are tight, but the next time I check, the shim has slipped and the connection is loose.

    If that's the case then it should be taken care of before any farther diagnostic on any issues with this vehicle...
    If not, It is simply wasting everyone's time on trying help you solving any issues that may or may not exist..

    I'm aware of that. I just discovered that the posts were slipping a couple of days ago. i have purchased new OEM clamps and will be changing things over as soon as our sad Postal service can get them to me.

    Sounds like the shims are very poorly designed. Maybe a cut with a hacksaw might fix them.

    Of course, that should be fixed first.
