(Maintenance Mode to make the engine run. PWR can make the engine run more easily while you're driving.)

Looks like you're ready for this job. After the first time taking off the cowl, that becomes easy. The plugs themselves are a piece of cake. Just remember to "feel" them turning, and threading them correctly upon installation.

Okay, I think this is my last question. Do you torque the plugs with the spark plug socket or do you only use that socket to get them in/out?

Spark plug socket. It's just a regular socket with rubber insert.

I'd second the Denso plug mentioned in #14, why gamble.

Tape the junction between extension and socket, to reduce risk of socket staying in the well after torquing.

I'd avoid silicon on boots too, just makes a mess.

Apart from the highish torque value, @NutzAboutBolts video is invaluable, for all the stuff you need to pull off.

Eck. I lied, one more question.
I finally received my spark plug socket in the mail. No clue why one was so hard to find, probably COVID shortages.

I was just about to start and watched the video again. anyway, the ignition coil bolts, are they supposed tightened to 8ft/lbs or 10ft?

The nuts video says 10 by reads 8. And despite searching this forum, I can’t find anything. Another video I watched just tightened them by feel and didn’t even torque them.

Just snug them down. One-hand it with a ratchet wrench. They are small locator bolts, not torque critical. IIRC the torque value in repair Manual is in INCH pounds.

At least two people here have misread and dogmatically torqued those in foot pounds, snapped the heads right off.

I agree with Mendel, but this might help...

    Torque specs:
10 ft. lbs - Wiper arms
6 ft. lbs - Wiper motor mount bolts
9 ft. lbs - Cowl sub assembly bolts
15 ft. Ibs - Spark plugs
13 ft. lbs - Spark plugs with anti-sieze
80 in. lbs - ignition coil bolts

Dry thread torque for the spark plugs is indicated (in first attachement) as 15 foot pounds. That said, if you were to use anti-seize, 13 would be good I think.

I wouldn't sweat torque values for anything but the spark plugs.

    Here's some repair manual excerpts:

Everything sounds fine? Lol. So hard to tell tbh. Basically I don’t hear anything massively different and it seems to run fine? I overthink things like this tho even when I’m doing things like cooking.
