Battery went dead again. Was going to get a new battery, but when I disconnected the negative battery terminal, I saw the connection was corroded. Cleaned up the terminals and the battery charged up fine.

But now have several things not working: Radio doesn't recognize sirius subscription; will be a pain to get that resolved, but will be just time involved. All the display settings were lost; got the settings back. Check engine light is on, but that will probably go away after a few drive cycles.

My main concern now is that the HUD no longer works. I turned it off and back on. Still nothing. I went into display settings and couldn't find any thing wrong there. Any ideas on how to get the HUD working again.

The HUD has a physical button low and to the left of the steering column. Is that the problem?
As far as XM is concerned maybe park the car outdoors a while.

Is it possible you will have to turn everything on in the set up menu! I would not think so but it looks that way

After cleaning he terminals and charging the battery, that button was on (green led on). I turned it off and then back on anyway. Car is always parked outside. Garage is for projects.

I checked the set-up menu and everything seemed as it should be.

If you have not yet done so set up an account at http://www.SiriusXM.com . You can send a reset ping from there last time I checked.

Or if you have the XM app and are signed in to your account you can send that ping yourself. (used to be able to. I dont know now I dropped XM b/c the prime only gets ~100 out of 300+ stations witch is bullsh!t.)

Sirius XM is now working. But HUD is still not working.

I may disconnect the 12v battery again and re-connect to see if it comes back. Seems like a long shot, but don't know what else to do.
