Over Bob's Car loses communication with...

    ...the key fob but only for a moment. I get an orange triangle and left side of the dash key not detected in the center of the dash and itself resolves period any ideas?

    Did you try changing the key fob battery? It's borderline low my initial guess. I don't know anyone who gets in and straps their key into a fixed position relative to the receiver so slight movement plus weak battery could cause intermittent connection.

    I thought that the ignition function was RFID and not dependent on the battery in the FOB.
    Wrong ??

    Does it do this with both FOBs ?
    Might want to check the 12 V battery in the car too.

    It will still start with a dead key battery, IF you put the key in the correct spot. That's very limited range. "Key not detected" comes when you remove the key from the car like at the valet and I forgot. Many senior moments and I'm 44 wonder what's going to happen as I get older....

    Please elaborate on what steps you took so we don't blindly recommend steps you've already taken...
