Hi.I have a 2013 gen3 Prius and I want to install H&R lowering springs and I have couple of questions?
1.H&R go with factory struts or I have to replace them with shorter ones?
2.Should I install a rear sway bar, does it make any difference?
3.How low it will go with H&R as I have a C-WEST ELD body kit,do you have any pictures?

Two weeks ago, I added the TRD rear anti-sway bar and it makes a big difference.
Last week, I added the Cusco strut brace and my steering has improved. Well worth it.
Purchased and enroute are the KYB struts and Tanabe lowering coil springs.
I bought the oem struts off Rock Auto.
No issues with the oem strut.
I have heard with some rear lowering springs when you jack up the rear wheels, the springs can slip out of place, so must be careful when letting the jack down to make sure springs are positioned correctly. I am going with the oem rear KYB shocks.
    Thats my 2 cents...

One more thing, don't forget to do an alignment, you might get lucky and not have to shim the rear wheels, but from what I have read, I am preparing to shim the rear.

Hi.Thank you for your advice,in Uk is a bit hard to find the parts at a shop or dealership.I called the dealership today and they said that if the car wasn't suppose to have those parts they can't sell them to me.That's I'am afraid to replace the springs with OEM struts,I heard that the rear one's are shorter.

I should have all my parts in the next few weeks, keep checking back and I will post pics and the parts I have used.
I have done struts and springs on many vehicles, if you have the tools, its actually pretty simple.

Thanks.I have tools and knowledge is not this problem, the problem is that in UK Prius is a taxi car not to many modified here.
My question is if I can use the lowering springs with the OEM struts?
If you changed the struts with shorter ones?
    What struts you used?

You don't need to change the struts if you don't want to lower more than 30mm
    A few photos with H&R -30mm springs. With before & after ;)

A bit stiff but they work fine. You don't need to roll anything.

sorry for bothering you but do you know which aftermarket shocks/struts will work with H&R springs? i know low springs will worn out the factory struts, because the aftermarket and factory spings has different compression/rebound ratio and the aftermarket one's is slightly shorter....
