I've got it ordered, along with the required cable, I'll post my results once it arrives and I have it up and running.

OK, I've made some progress. I did get Techstream, and got a C1344 code, as I understand it, a sort of generic brake system malfunction code. I then had the front rotors turned, and replaced the front brake pads. I then bled the brakes using Techstream, but noticed that the left rear cylinder did not bleed any fluid, unlike the right rear cylinder. After that, Techstream now shows C1344, Hydraulic System (RL), pointing out the cylinder that didn't bleed. So, what do I need to do from here?

I'm getting different codes, so I am starting over with a new thread.

I have had the same problem and I thought I solved it once, but the parking brake light came back on again. Research tells me that the problem is likely that the switch has come loose from the mounting point and the switch ground is through that mounting point. Saw something somewhere about how to get to that mounting hardware, but can't find that now. Involves removing A/C vent to the left of the driver.....
