You still need to replace the oil filter and it doesn't remove the gunk that settles to the bottom of the oil pan and probably doesn't remove all the oil either.

I did my the first oil change on my 2020 Prius Prime last weekend. I used my modified Walmart Rhino Ramps to get it up in the air. It handled the ramps easier than my Gen III. I like the updates to the oil access area. No problems at all. I used the Mobil 1 0w16 and I much prefer the spin-on filter. Looking forward to keeping my oil fresh. The factory fill stuff sure was thin, whatever it was. 4400 miles.

After trying to pry off the washer and not having much success with some noticeable movement to the oil pan --- I chickened out and decided to keep the original washer and using it as a "permanent" washer. Hoping that dealer has better luck at 10k miles first official oil change.

If needed, I pry with a slim screw driver blade at the washer/pan interface, and gentle tap with a hammer if needed.

I literally just put a small flat head screwdriver inside the drain port and tap the side of the washer it pops right off. YZZN1 is the new part btw.

Yeah, it's not like separating the engine from the transaxle. :ROFLMAO:
